PG&E has been questioned for its backroom deals allowing the company to pocket millions in AB 32 rate hikes on its customers. In another example of PG&E’s lack of ethics, the company has now been called out by Representative Jackie Speier for spiking pressure on gas lines eleven times since 2003, effectively playing Russian roulette with the lives of those who live nearby. After a deadly explosion on PG&E’s San Bruno gas lines, the company’s practices are drawing greater scrutiny.
